Editorial Standards

Last updated: July 2026

At Make Time For Wellness, trust is everything. Health and wellness information should be honest, careful, and genuinely useful. This page explains how we create our content and the standards we hold ourselves to.

Our approach: wellness education, not medical practice

We are wellness writers and researchers, not medical professionals. Our role is to translate credible, evidence-informed ideas into practical, everyday guidance for healthy living. We focus on lifestyle and wellness topics — nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, healthy habits, and how people commonly use natural remedies — and we deliberately stay out of diagnosing or treating medical conditions. For anything clinical, we point readers to qualified healthcare providers. (See our Medical Disclaimer.)

How we research

  • We prioritize reputable, authoritative sources — peer-reviewed research, established health and government organizations, and recognized experts.
  • We aim to reflect the weight of the evidence, not cherry-picked or fringe claims, and we try to note when the science is mixed or still emerging.
  • We link to primary sources where practical so you can read further and judge for yourself.

How we write

  • We write in plain, honest language and avoid hype, fear-mongering, and “miracle cure” promises.
  • We separate established evidence from general wellness tradition or personal experience, and we say which is which.
  • We avoid absolute health claims and remind readers that individual needs vary.

Accuracy and corrections

We strive for accuracy, but we’re human and the science evolves. If you spot an error, please tell us at hello@maketimeforwellness.com. We review credible concerns promptly and correct or update content as needed. Significant updates are reflected in the “last updated” date on our articles.

Keeping content current

Wellness guidance changes as new research emerges. We periodically review and refresh our articles so the information stays relevant and reflects current understanding.

Independence and integrity

Our editorial content is independent. We may earn commissions through affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure), but commercial relationships never dictate our recommendations or conclusions. When content is sponsored, we label it clearly.

Our promise to you

To be clear about what we are (passionate wellness educators) and what we are not (your doctor), to cite good sources, to correct our mistakes, and to always put your wellbeing ahead of clicks. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.
